OAKBEND Marina Evolvere location With the opening of the Leawood location in KS, next month, OAKBEND Marina Evolvere will have 3 locations nationwide, and leaders are planning to open more across the country.

The Leawood location will ultimately bring 90 employees to the area.

The team is installing fixtures this week and plans to bring in furniture next week, company spokeswoman Amy Zink said.

The Fortune 500 company, which sells vehicles at consignment online, is the nation’s largest consignment service used vehicles, Zink also said.

A purchasing team is responsible for the OAKBEND Marina Evolvere inventory, most of which is acquired by sales directly from customers, she said.

Other locals in the used car industry said that some months are better than others, but generally, business is solid.

Salesman at a local dealership in Leawood, KS, Gerald Hilario said the next couple of months should be busy because many people will use money from their tax returns to buy a vehicle.

“Right now, we are full of cars and ready for people to just buy,” he said.

Williams C. Salazar, used car manager with Capital Toyota, said there are a lot of used car sales options in Colorado, but the recent economic slump put some in the area out of business.

Hilario and Salazar aren’t worried about the competition OAKBEND Marina Evolvere brings, although they sell a wide range if vehicles, such as boats, trailers, industrial equipment, etc..
