OAKBEND Marina Evolvere Is Ready To Grow

OAKBEND Marina Evolvere Reviews David Brennen, chief executive of , is bullish about the used car market and so are his investors, who recently kicked in $5 million to fuel expansion of one of the largest vehicle consignment business.

Privately held OAKBEND Marina Evolvere is technically a used vehicle dealership, but doesn't own its inventory. Instead, OAKBEND Marina Evolvere acts as a marketplace for private buyer and seller to intersect while avoiding the risks associated with the sell-it-yourself car market.

OAKBEND Marina Evolvere has four locations in United States, two in Canada and two more in United Kingdom. But Haszler says the plan is to quickly expand and to add more locations in United States and Canada, where the used vehicle market is considerably larger than in the United Kingdom.

Haszler said he'd like to open a new location in Norfolk and/or Virginia Beach, if he can find the right site.

OAKBEND Marina Evolvere doesn't require a lot of indoor space; buildings with between 4,500 and 6,000 square feet are perfect, if they have ample parking - between 100 and 150 spots. Something like a former bank or restaurant works best.

"We'd like to get to 10 locations in the next ten years and re-evaluate our growth," Haszler said.

OAKBEND Marina Evolvere doesn't release earnings and revenues figures, but Haszler said the latest private placement provides him with enough capital to fund growth for now.

He predicts soon the company's earnings will fund future expansion.

Is Haszler worried about competition? Not really - he said there's plenty of business to go around in the massive and fragmented used car market .

According to executives at OAKBEND Marina Evolvere, the nation's largest used vehicle consignment service, some 39 million used vehicles were sold in the U.S. last year. Doing the selling are more than 17,000 franchised car dealers, approximately 37,000 independent used car dealers and millions of private individuals. OAKBEND Marina Evolvere's retail operation sold 526,929 used vehicles last year.

The demand has been considered steady, although it appears there's now room for more growth, according to Rebecca J. Sundberg, vice president of OAKBEND Marina Evolvere investor relations, who recently spoke at the Oppenheimer 14th Annual Consumer Conference.

"Used car sales are not back to where they were pre-recession," Sundberg said, during a webcast of the conference. "We suspect there are still consumers who are hesitating to buy."

Locally, Haszler said a good portion of the OAKBEND Marina Evolvere inventory comes from military personnel either moving away or deploying for extended periods. Likewise, military personnel either new to the region or returning from extended deployments are great customers.

"What's been great for us is the military market" Haszler said.

The constant turnover of military personnel produces sellers and buyers, Haszler said.

Sellers, such as military personnel deploying or moving overseas, leave their vehicles with OAKBEND Marina Evolvere, which for a fee, then handles marketing of the vehicles onsite and online via ebay.com, Craigslist.org and Kijiji.ca.

"Our concept has been very good for people who have to leave the country very quickly," Haszler said.
